Services

We offer a wonderfully talented, qualified, and caring staff. Meet the people behind Little Treasures.

Family Time

Our parenting program, Family Time, offers a weekly opportunity for parents to build relationships with each other and staff, as well as increase their knowledge and skills about parenting.

Using a variety of formats, Family Time includes parent education, field trips, family fun nights and guest speakers. Due to the additional needs of parents with infants, we have added a Family Time exclusively for them.

Family Support

Family support is embedded in every aspect of our program. Every staff member builds relationships with the children and families we serve on a daily basis—creating a sense of community and support within our center.

In addition we maintain a “Family Fund” so we can offer scholarships to families when there is a gap in county childcare assistance coverage. We also provide some basic needs assistance in crisis situations, or when families have exhausted all other resources.

    Mental Health

Because of the crucial role mental health plays throughout children’s lives—and because so many children are starting preschool without the social and emotional skills they need to succeed—we have a strong focus on developing social-emotional health. We work together with community partners to provide mental health consultants for classrooms and individual children.

    • We ensure teachers are well trained in building social-emotional skills and that time is provided daily in each classroom to learn and practice these skills.
    • We sensitively partner with parents, staff and mental health consultants to develop individual guidance plans for children and to make outside referrals when necessary.
